1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing ControlAI Fundraising OS, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Access is limited to people expressly invited or approved by ControlAI. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. Authorized use
You may use the application only for legitimate ControlAI fundraising, investor research, relationship management, diligence, and outreach-preparation activities within the authority granted to you. You must follow applicable laws, contractual obligations, data-source terms, and ControlAI policies.
3. Account responsibilities
- Keep your account and device secure and do not share authentication credentials.
- Use only your own approved identity and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe the service, or access information beyond your role.
- Ensure information you add is appropriate for the workspace and handled with suitable care.
4. Research, enrichment, and AI-assisted output
The application may combine user-supplied data, public sources, third-party providers, and AI-assisted analysis. Results can be incomplete, stale, conflicting, or incorrect. Source citations, confidence indicators, and review states are aids—not guarantees. Users must verify material facts and exercise independent judgment before relying on an output or communicating externally.
5. Human review and outreach
The application prepares research, qualification profiles, permissionless-value angles, and outreach drafts. It does not authorize or send outreach automatically. An authorized person remains responsible for reviewing the recipient, factual claims, tone, privacy implications, and final message before any external use.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the application to:
- send spam, deceptive messages, harassment, or unlawful solicitations;
- collect or use information through unlawful means or in violation of a source's binding terms;
- upload malicious code, disrupt the service, or defeat security and usage controls;
- misrepresent AI-generated or inferred information as verified fact; or
- use confidential or personal information outside the purpose and permissions under which it was provided.
7. Workspace data and intellectual property
ControlAI and its authorized contributors retain their respective rights in workspace data, research, software, documents, and other materials. Access to the application does not transfer ownership or grant permission to use confidential materials outside authorized ControlAI work. Third-party content remains subject to its applicable rights and terms.
8. Third-party services
Authentication, hosting, research, enrichment, and AI features may rely on third-party services. Their operation, availability, and handling of information are governed by their own terms and policies. ControlAI may change, restrict, or discontinue a provider or integration when needed.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The application is provided for internal business operations on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, ControlAI disclaims implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The application does not provide legal, investment, or financial advice and does not guarantee fundraising outcomes.
10. Suspension, changes, and termination
ControlAI may suspend or end access to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse, or reflect a change in a user's role. We may update the application and these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ControlAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from reliance on unverified data, third-party services, unauthorized use, or fundraising outcomes. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
